242 Newsletter - Weekend Pumpkin Carving

Chris Hancock - Assistant Headmaster for Student Life
Albeit a short one, it has been a busy week here at the Hill.
Albeit a short one, it has been a busy week here at the Hill. You can feel the anticipation of Fall Family Weekend mounting among our students.  First, however, we had a few important events to get through this week.

Our "Eagle Hill Day" was the highlight of the last few days when the entire 8th grade class from Eagle Hill Greenwich spent an afternoon on campus learning about our shared history, exploring campus and interacting with our EHS kids. The day couldn't have been better or more beneficial for either school. Our students had a chance to have the spotlight shined on them for a few moments as they addressed our guests to share their own journeys both to find Eagle Hill and the one they're currently having while here. Naturally, they stole the show. Participating with Greenwich in a shared learning experience like this is something we surely look forward to doing again soon.

Our campus and students will once again take center stage for an Open House this afternoon.  With over 100 guests expected, it will be another busy day on the Hill and another chance to share the beauty of the work taking place here.  After that, we, and the students, can relax over the weekend and begin counting down the hours until we see you all next week.  Something we all look forward to every year.

Have a wonderful weekend,
Chris
