Academic Honors Program
Eagle Hill School offers an expanded honors program of study to those students who demonstrate exceptional talent and commitment to academic pursuit in a given area of study. Honors coursework is offered across the curriculum in courses beyond the introductory level. Students accepted for honors study in a given course commit themselves to a greater level of academic independence and to additional coursework, projects, and presentations. Courses taken as part of the honors program are indicated as such on students’ transcripts.
Independent Study
Independent study courses are permitted with the recommendation of the sponsoring member of the faculty and the endorsement of a student's advisor.
At Eagle Hill, a distinguished faculty offers a wide range of courses in our college preparatory program of studies. Students are challenged with demanding coursework in the traditional disciplines, including a diverse offering of elective courses, and are given the opportunity to pursue their interests and passions in the creative and performing arts. At the same time, each student's specific academic needs are given careful consideration as a program of study is developed under the guidance of the student's academic advisor.
